Tree Farm Mini

It’s not very often I get the pleasure of calling myself an Ankeny Ia Photographer. About seven years ago one of my good friends from Ankeny IA reached out to me asking me if I would do their family photos. Of course I said yes! Not only were they one gorgeous family, they were a blast to capture down in Valley Junction. Since then I have done a couple newborn sessions and many cousins and family sessions with their whole family. This year we did Christmas Tree Mini.

You could say it went well beside a few crying babies. We started off with the Lane siblings first. Per usual they were goof balls full of giggles and silly faces. I am pretty sure it was chaotic but they still laughed and smiled away. Next we attempted all the cousins but 2 of them were not really into the trees and cold weather.

My favorite part of the session was when the big kids just ran, played, decorated the little peanuts tree, and just had fun. I can’t wait to work with these guys again.
