the studio

hourly rentals are $50 per hour and $40 per hour if 3 or more consective hours are booked.

The studio is located in the heart of Valley Junction at 413 Maple Street, West Des Moines, Iowa. It is at street level with no stairs and two large bay windows that are great for natural light. There are display boxes in each window great for diaplaying works of art as passer bys shop Valley Junction. Full time photographers are welcome to put up window decals at their own expense and hang up wall art. All photographers who use the studio are required to show proof of liability insurance. 

The studio is equiped with a  large shooting space, prop staroage area, and bathroom which is located in the back room  where the main storage is. A client seating area which is located right by the front door(great for sessions, meetings, and reveals). Full time photographers are allowed storage space to store props and backdrops and other equipment. The use of other's props is not allowed unless premission is granted frist from the photographer who owns said props. Anyone who rents the space may use the floor mats located in shooting space, motherbean posing bag, newborn backdrop stand, and einstein flash unit with triggers (86 in white pml).
